1997-034 CITY OF HOPKINS HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION 97-34 RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AFTER PUBLIC HEARING ALLEY RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT 97-02 WHEREAS, a resolution of the city council adopted the 4th day of March, 1997, fixed a date for a Council hearing on the proposed improvement of alleys in the #10 blocks north of Mainstreet between 17th and 21st Avenues North, and WHEREAS, the city council deems it appropriate and expedient to reconstruct the alleys with concrete pavement, and WHEREAS, ten days mailed notice and two weeks published notice of the hearing was given, and the hearing was held thereon the 1st day of April, 1997, at which all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon, NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the city Council of Hopkins, Minnesota: 1. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the Council resolution adopted the 4th day of March, 1997. 2. The city's engineer is hereby designated to prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvement. 3. Language in the feasibility study shall be revised to read, "Commercial property (all rental property found on the block north of the project alley and all other property south of the project alley and immediately adjacent to it) shall be assessed at its full footage.
