RESOLUTION 97-17
RESOLUTION ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING
ALLEY RECONSTRUCTION
PROJECT 97-02
WHEREAS, the City Council authorized and directed the City
Engineer to prepare a report with reference to the aforesaid
improvement, and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has caused to be prepared the
aforesaid report for improvements in the #10 Blocks north of
Mainstreet between 17th and 21st Avenues N (proj. 97-02),
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Hopkins,
Minnesota:
1. Council approves the feasibility report as submitted
March 4, 1997.
2. The Council will consider the aforesaid improvements in
accordance with the report and the assessment of
abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of
the alley improvements pursuant to Minnesota Statutes
Chapter 429 at estimated total costs of $107,300.00 for
Project 97-02.
3. A public hearing will be held in the Council Chambers
of the City Hall at 1010 First Street South on Tuesday,
the 1st day of April, 1997, to consider said
improvements. The hearing time is 7:30 p.m.
The City Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of said
hearings and improvements as required by law.
