ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF THE ALLEYS ON THE
NORTHEAST CORNER OF MAINSTREET AND 8TH AVENUE
THE COUNCII, OF THE CITY OF HOPKINS DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
That the following described area of the following public alley in the City of Hopkins,
namely:
That part of the East-West alley in Block 66, WEST MINNEAPOLIS SECOND
DIVISION, Hennepin County, Minnesota, which lies East of the west line of said
Block 66, extended across said alley, and which lies West of the southerly
extension of the West line of Lot 6;
and, That part of the North-South alley in Block 66, WEST MINNEAPOLIS
SECOND DIVISION, Hennepin County, Minnesota which lies North of a line
from the southeast corner of Lot 13 to the southwest corner of Lot 6, and which
lies Southerly of a line from the northwest corner of said Lot 6 to the northeast
corner of Lot 16.
be and the same is hereby vacated as a public alley, provided that a perpetual public drainage and
utility easement are reserved and retained by the City of Hopkins over, under, and across all of the
above described vacated alley.
