RESOLUTION CALLING FOR PUBLIC HEARING
STREET NAME CHANGE TO EXCELSIOR BOULEVARD
WHEREAS, the City of Hopkins has received formal requests from the
United States Postal Service and Hennepin County Public Works
for a uniform street name of Excelsior Boulevard for the County
Road 3 corridor through the City, and
WHEREAS, street name change procedures require action by ordinance,
and
WHEREAS, Council deems a public hearing is in order to discuss the
merits of such a name change,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
HOPKINS, MINNESOTA;
1. Such hearing is hereby set for 7:30 P.M., August 20, 1996 at
the City Hall Council Chambers.
• 2. Published notice in the official newspaper shall be made and
posted notice sent to all affected property owners.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Hopkins this 16th day of
July, 1996.
