RESOLUTION APPROVING: PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
AND AUTHORIZINCa BIDS
MEADOWBROOEC STORM SEWER PROJECT 95-15
WHEREAS, storm sewer improvements for the Interlachen Park
neighborhood have been identified by the City in its Capital
Improvements Plan and Storm Water Management Plan to improve storm
drainage and
WIiEREAH, staff has prepared plans and specifications for a
project of such scope and such plans have been presented to Council
for approvalo
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City
of Hopkins® Minnesota:
1. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed by the
City Engineer and presented to the Council on September 3®
1996.
2. Bid plans and specifications® a copy of which are attached
hereto and made a part hereof® are hereby approved and
ordered on file in the office of the City Clerk.
3. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in
the official paper and in the Construction Bulletin an
advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement
under such approved plans and specifications. The
advertisement shall be published twicea shall specify the
work to be donee shall state that bids will be received by
the clerk until 2:®0 P.M.o on the 26 day of Septembers
19960 at the City Hall and that no bids shall be
considered unless sealed and filed with the clerk.
4. The Clerk and engineering superintendent are hereby
authorized and instructed to receives openB and read aloud
bids received at the time and place herein notedo and to
tabulate the bids received. The Council will consider the
bids® and the award of a contract at the regular City
Council meeting of ®ctober 10 1996® in the Council
Chambers.
