RESOLUTION NO: 96-19
RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND
APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO CONSTRUCT
AN ADDITION TO EISENHOWER ELEMENTARY
WHEREAS, an application for Conditional Use Permit CUP96-1 has been made by the Hopkins
School District;
WHEREAS, the procedural history of the application is as follows:
That an application for a conditional use permit, was made by the Hopkins School District
on January 26, 1996;
2. That the Hopkins Zoning and Planning Commission, pursuant to mailed and published
notice, held a public hearing on the application and reviewed such application on February
27, 1996: all persons present were given an opportunity to be heard;
3. That the written comments and analysis of City staff were considered; and
4. A legal description of the subject property is as follows:
All of the following described tract which lies North of the centerline of Highway No. 7:
That part of the West 247.5 feet of the West One Half of the Northeast One Quarter and
that part of the Northeast One Quarter of the Northwest One Quarter, Section 24,
Township 117, Range 22 lying North of the center line of Minnetonka Mills Avenue as
shown on the plat of "WEST MINNEAPOLIS SECOND DIVISION".
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the application for Conditional Use Permit
CUP96-1 is hereby approved based on the following Findings of Fact:
1. A school is permitted with a conditional use permit.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that application for Conditional Use Permit CUP96-1 is hereby
approved based on the following conditions:
1. That the Minnehaha Watershed District approves the proposed development.
2. That the site is developed and constructed as per the plans submitted.
