RESOLUTION NO: 96-4
RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND APPROVING A VACATION OF
A UTILITY EASEMENT AT 1106-1124 MAINSTREET
WHEREAS, the City of Hopkins has approved the construction of a theater and restaurant at
1106-1124 Mainstreet;
WHEREAS, there is an abandoned storm sewer at 1106-1124 Mainstreet;
WHEREAS, there is an existing utility easement for the storm sewer at 1106-1124 Mainstreet;
WHEREAS, the subject storm sewer was rerouted during the Mainstreet project; and
WHEREAS, the utility easement at 1106-1124 Mainstreet is not needed by the City of Hopkins.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the utility easement at 1106-1124 Mainstreet is
hereby vacated,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the utility easement at 1106-1124 Mainstreet is
hereby approved based on the following condition:
1. That a utility easement is granted to Northern States Power.
