AN ORDINANCE RENAMING EXCELSIOR AVENUE EAST/SECOND STREET SOUTH
TO E%CELSIOR BOULEVARD
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HOPKINS DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
Those parts of Hennepin County State Aid Highway No. 3 with the
current name designations of Excelsior Avenue East and Second
Street South within the City of Hopkins be and the same are
hereby changed to Excelsior Boulevard effective January 1, 1997.
Those parts of Second Street South lying between Fifth and Eighth
Avenues South and between Eleventh and Thirteenth Avenues South,
being remote thoroughfares from the county road, shall retain
their current designation.
The address numbering system for Excelsior Boulevard shall be the
prevailing Minneapolis system as used in all other segments of
the roadway.
