RESOLUTION NO. 95-69
APPROVAL OF CONTRACT TO HAUL
RESIDENTIAL WASTE TO HENNEPIN COUNTY FACILITIES
WHEREAS, the City of Hopkins collects and disposes of residential
solid waste from Hopkins residents and,
WHEREAS, the City of Hopkins currently disposes of residential
solid waste at the Hennepin County Brooklyn Park facility
and,
WHEREAS, by approval of this contract the County will reduce the
tip fee at their facilities from $60 per ton down to $45 per
ton,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the city Council of the city
of Hopkins hereby authorizes the Mayor and city Manager to
enter into a contract with Hennepin County to haul
residential waste to their facilities at a reduced tip fee
of $45 per ton.
Adopted by the City Council of the city of Hopkins this 18th Day
of July, 1995.
