RESOLUTION NO. 95-106
RESOLUTION ORDERING A PUBLIC HEARING
1996 RESIDENTIAL STREET IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, the City Council authorized and directed the preparation
of a report with reference to improvement of certain
streets within the Campbell, Peaceful Valley and
Westbrooke East neighborhoods, and
WHEREAS, the engineering firm of MSA Consulting Engineers has
prepared the aforesaid report for the improvement
herein described,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the city Council of Hopkins,
Minnesota:
1.
The Council will consider the aforesaid
improvement in accordance with the report and the
assessment of abutting and non-abutting property
for all or a portion of the cost of the street
improvements along 8th Avenue South (6th to 8th
street South), 7th Avenue South (5th to 8th Street
South), 8th Street South (6th to 8th Avenue
South), alley east of 6th Avenue South (7th to 8th
Street South), Burnes Drive, and Sweet Briar Lane
pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429 at an
estimated total cost of $880,345.00.

2. A public hearing will be held in the Council
Chambers of the city Hall at 1010 First Street
South on Tuesday, December 19, 1995 at 7:30 p.m.
to consider said improvement. The city clerk
shall give mailed and published notice of said
hearing and improvement as required by law.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Hopkins this 21st day
of November, 1995.
