RESOLUTION NO. 95-119
RESOLUTION SUPPORTING ISTEA GRANT APPLICATION
FOR SHADY OAK ROAD
WHEREAS, the City of Hopkins has a capital improvement plan that
calls for the improvement of Shady Oak Road from County
Road 3 to Trunk Highway 7, and
WHEREAS, there are deficiencies in Shady Oak Road regarding
roadway conditions, traffic/pedestrian movement, safety
and aesthetics; and
WHEREAS, the city of Hopkins has continually strived to work
with Hennepin County to facilitate the improvement of
collector and arterial roadways.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
HOPKINS, MINNESOTA:
That it hereby supports Hennepin County's application
for Federal funding through the ISTEA Federal funding
program for Shady Oak Road from County Road 3 to Trunk
Highway 7.
Adopted by the City Council of the city of Hopkins, Minnesota,
this 19th day of December 1995.
