RESOLUTION NO 94-36
RESOLUTION RELEASING TAX FORFEITURE PROPERTY AND RECOMMENDING
PRIVATE SALE BY COUNTY THROUGH PUBLIC AUCTION
WHEREAS, Hennepin County has notified the City of Hopkins of certain real estate described
under PID no 25-117-22-13-0074 which is located within the City and which has been forfeited
to the State of Minnesota for non-payment of real estate property taxes, and
WHEREAS, after studying the described parcel the City has determined that the parcel would be
of no benefit to the City for public purposes, and
WHEREAS, the parcel has been determined to be non-conservation land as provided for in
Minnesota Statutes 282 01, and
WHEREAS, the parcel complies with the provisions of Minnesota Statutes 85012,92461,
28201, subd 8 and 282018, and other statutes that require the WIthholding of tax forfeited land
from sale
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Hopkins
That the City hereby releases that certain parcel from Hennepin County descnbed under PID no
25-117-22-13-0074, and
That the City hereby recommends that the parcel be made available for public auction
