RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ESTABLISHMENT
OF PARKING TIME LIMITS FOR
THE FORMER SUBURBAN CHEVROLET LOT
WHICH LIES NORTH OF MAINSTREET
BETWEEN 11TH AND 12TH AVENUES
WHEREAS, The Hopkins City Council may by resolut1on des1gnate
llm1ted time park1ng, and
WHEREAS, Pursuant thereto, the Police Department shall cause the
post1ng and maintenance of appropriate signs at the locations so
designated, and
WHEREAS, The former Suburban Chevrolet used car lot lY1ng north
of Ma1nstreet between 11th and 12th Avenues, now designated as
Lot #450, 1S currently owned by the C1ty of Hopk1ns Housing and
Redevelopment Author1ty, and
WHEREAS, Signage of this lot will help to control the appearance
and regulat10n of the lot, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Counc1l of the City of
Hopk1ns, that sa1d lot shall be posted appropr1ately to 1nd1cate
the follow1ng:
1) 3 hour time limit between the hours of 8:00
a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
2) No parking 10:00 p.m. - 5:00 a.m.
2) No Trespassing 10:00 p.m. - 5:00 a.m.
