RESOLUTION NO. 94-53
RESOLUTION FOR BID AWARD
PUBLIC WORKS ADDITION AND AMENDMENT TO REFUSE BUDGET
WHEREAS, bids were received for the Public Works Addition on May
27, 1994, and
WHEREAS, the budgeted amount for this project was $260,000.00,
and
WHEREAS, seven bids were received and the bid of parkos
Construction, in the amount of $241,700.00, is the lowest
responsible bid for the Public Works Addition, Project NO~
94-03, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the Refuse budget in the
amount of $29,800 to cover project costs not included in the
bid amount,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Hopkins, Minnesota, that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Parkos
Construction, for and on behalf of the city, and that the
Finance Director is hereby directed to amend the budget for
this project to reflect the additional $29,800 needed to
complete the project.
