RESOLUTION NO. 94-54
RESOLUTION ORDERING A PUBLIC HEARING
TO CONSIDER RECONSTRUCTING MAINSTREET
BETWEEN 5TH AVENUE AND WASHINGTON AVENUE
WHEREAS, the City Council authorized and directed the preparation of a
report with reference to the improvement of Mainstreet
between 5th Avenue and Washington Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the engineering firm of RLK and Associates has prepared the
aforesaid report for the improvement herein described.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Hopkins,
Minnesota:
1.
The Council will consider the aforesaid improvement
accordance with the report and the assessment
abutting property for all or a portion of the cost
the street improvements wi thin this section
Mainstreet pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter
at an estimated total cost of the improvement
$480,240.

2. A public hearing will be held in the Council Chambers
of the City Hall at 1010 First Street South on Tuesday,
the 5th of July, 1994 at 7:30 p.m. to consider said
improvement. The ci ty clerk shall gi ve mailed and
published notice of said hearing and improvement as
required by law.
Adopted by the city Council of the City of Hopkins this 7th day of
June, 1994.
