RESOLUTION NO. 94-71
ESTABLISHING "NO PARKING" RESTRICTIONS
ON ELMO SERVICE ROAD, ROB INWOOD
LANE SOUTH OF 5TH STREET NORTH, AND
5TH STREET NORTH FROM ELMO SERVICE ROAD
TO HOPKINS CROSS ROAD
WHEREAS, the Oakridge South area includes the aforementioned streets
as well as Elmo Road and Robinwood Lane North of 5th Street
North, and
WHEREAS, all of the streets within the Oakridge South area are being
reconstructed except for Elmo Road, and
WHEREAS, the property owners, as part of the reconstruction process,
requested every street within this area to be posted "No Parking"
except for Elmo Road and Robinwood Lane north of 5th Street
North, and
WHEREAS, the City of Hopkins has determined that posting "No Parking"
restrictions on these streets would be a significant traffic
improvement for the area.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the city Council of the City of
Hopkins, Minnesota hereby establishes "No Parking" restrictions
on Elmo Service Road, Robinwood Lane south of 5th Street North,
and 5th Street North from Elmo Service Road to Hopkins Cross
Road, and directs staff to install the appropriate signing for
this type of restriction.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Hopkins this 5th day of
July, 1994.
