RESOLUTION NO. 94-89
INSTALLATION OF NO TRUCK SIGNS
ON STREETS LEADING INTO
THE PARK RIDGE NEIGHBORHOOD
WHEREAS, the residents of the Park Ridge neighborhood submitted a
peti tion to the City Council on August 16 requesting "No
Truck" signs be installed on all streets leading into their
neighborhood; and
WHEREAS, the signs are being requested to eliminate the safety
hazards and street damage the trucks are presently creating;
and
WHEREAS, the city has determined that restricting truck traffic
in this area will have no impact on truck movements within
the city.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of Hopkins, Minnesota hereby directs staff to install "No
Truck" signs on all streets leading into the Park Ridge
neighborhood.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Hopkins this 20th day
of September, 1994.
