RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND
APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO CONSTRUCT AN ADDITION
TO THE EXISTING BUILDING AT BLAKE SCHOOL
WHEREAS, an application for a conditional use permit CUP94-4, made by Blake School for
construction of an addition to the existmg building at 110 Blake Road is approved
WHEREAS, the procedural history of the application is as follows
1 That an application for a conditional use permit CUP94-4 was filed with the City of
Hopkins on September 2, 1994
2 That the Hopkins Planning Commission, pursuant to published and mailed notices, held a
pubhc hearing on the application and reviewed such application on October 25, 1994 all
persons present at the heanng were given an opportunity to be heard
3 That the written comments and analysis of the City staff and the Planmng COmmlSSiOn
were considered
4 A legal description of the subject property is as follows
Commencmg at the most Northerly comer of Lot 82, thence Southwesterly along the
Northwesterly line thereof 150 feet, thence Southeasterly at nght angles 100 feet, thence
Northeasterly at right angles 123 8/10 feet to East line of said lot, thence North 103 37/100 feet
to beginmng, Lot 82, Auditors Subdivision No 239
That part of Lot 81 lying North of the South 125 feet and that part of South 125 feet of
Lot 81 lying East of the West 38 feet thereof, Lot 81, Auditors Subdivision No 239
Commencing at the Northwest comer of Lot 82, thence Northeasterly/along the
Northwesterly line thereof to the Northwest comer of Lot 83, thence South to Southwest

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the applicatiOn for conditional use permlt
CUP94-4iS hereby approved based on the following Findings of Fact
1 That the apphcant meets the requirements for a school in the residential zoning
district
2 That the applicant meets the requirement for a conditional use permit
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that apphcation for CUP94-4 is hereby approved based on the
following condition
1 That the Watershed District approve the drainage plan
