1993-081 CITY OF HOPKINS Hennepin County, Minnesota o RESOLUTION NO: 93-81 RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND APPROVING AN APPLICATION FOR A PRELIMINARY/FINAL PLAT FOR NHHI - BARRIER FREE HOUSING WHEREAS, an application for a subdivision SUBD93-2, made by The National Handicap Housing Institute to replat the northwest corner of County Road 3 and Fifth Avenue is approved. WHEREAS, the procedural history of the application is as follows: 1. That an application for a subdivision SUBD93-2 was filed with the City of Hopkins on July 6, 1993. 2. That the Hopkins Planning Commission, pursuant to published and mailed notices, held a public hearing on the application and reviewed such application on July 27, 1993: all persons present at the hearing were given an opportunity to be heard. 3. That the written comments and analysis of the City staff and the Planning Commission were considered. o NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the application for subdivision SUBD 93-2 is hereby approved based on the following Findings of Fact: 1. That the Sonoma Addition Plat meets the subdivision requirements. 2. That the Sonoma Addition Plat meets the minimum lot requirements for the R-5 zoning district. 3. That pursuant to the City's Subdivision ordinance the park dedication fee is waived due to the fact the applicant is participating in a City assisted development. Furthermore, based on the nature of the proposed mUlti-family project in the plat demands on the City's park system will not occur. 4. The initiation of the project was started prior to approval of park ordinance dedication. Adopted this 3rd day of August, 1993.
