RESOLUTION NO. 93-87
RESOLUTION WAIVING THE THIRTY DAY WAITING PERIOD
FOR THE ST. JOSEPH'S CHURCH APPLICATION FOR
AN EXEMPTION FROM A LAWFUL GAMBLING LICENSE
WHEREAS, S1. Joseph's Church has been an integral part of the Hopkins' Community,
and
WHEREAS, the St. Joseph's Church Fall Festival is an important community event, and
WHEREAS, to accommodate St. Joseph's Church, a waiver of the thirty day waiting
period allowed the City of Hopkins by the Minnesota Gambling Control Board is
necessary ,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Hopkins
hereby waives the thirty day requirement for the St. Joseph's Church of Hopkins
application for an exemption from a lawful gambling application.
