RESOLUTION NO: 93-125
RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND
APPROVING A SIDE YARD VARIANCE AT 510 SWEETBRIAR
WHEREAS, an application for a variance VN93-6, made by Gerald
Story to allow a 5 foot side yard variance to construct an addition to
the garage is hereby approved.
WHEREAS, the procedural history of the application is as follows:
1. That an application for a variance VN93-6 was filed with the
City of Hopkins on September 20, 1993.
2. That the Hopkins Planning Commission, pursuant to mailed
notices, held a meeting on the application and reviewed such
application on October 26, 1993: all persons present were
given an opportunity to be heard.
3. That the written comments and analysis of the City staff and
the Planning Commission were considered.

A legal description of the property is as follows:

Lot 001 Block 001 Hobby Acres Lohmann-Koehler Division.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the application for variance
VN93-6 is hereby for approved based on the following Findings of Fact:
1. That the applicant has an undue hardship due to the
unique and special circumstances associated with this
property and its relationship to Highway 7 and the
sound barrier located on the north side of the
property.
