Resolution Requesting C.S.A.H. No. 3 Improvements
To Be Placed on Hennepin County Capital Improvement Plans
1993-97
WHEREAS, the City of Hopkins deems it advisable and
necessary to undertake certain improvements on C.S.A.H.
No. 3 within the limits of said municipality as they
pertain to aesthetics, traffic movement and pedestrian
movement, and
WHEREAS, the City of Hopkins wishes to begin the planning
process for such improvements along C.S.A.H. No. 3 from
Shady Oak Road to Meadowbrook Road in a cooperative
effort with Hennepin County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
HOPKINS, MINNESOTA, THAT:
1. The City requests placement of such a project on
C.S.A.H. No. 3 from Shady Oak Road to Meadowbrook
Road on the 1993-97 Hennepin County Capital
Improvement Plan.
2. The city requests such a project to fall within
the following outlined schedule:
a) Segment 1 between Shady Oak Road and T.H. 169
Planning and Acquisition 1993-94
Construction 1995-96
b) Segment 2 between T.H. 169 and Blake Road
Planning and Acquisition 1994-95
Construction 1996-97
c) Segment 3 between Blake Road and Meadowbrook
Road
Planning and Construction 1996-97
