RESOLUTION NO: 92-90
RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND AUTHORIZING BIDS
PROJECT 92-13: HCRRAj13TH AVENUE BOX CULVERT
PROJECT 92-14: THERMOTECH PONDS
WHEREAS, ci ty staff has undertaken preliminary steps with the Nine
Mile Creek Watershed District Board requesting revision of
its water management plan, and
WHEREAS, City staff has authorized preparation of project plans that
specifically revise the water management plan and target
needed storm improvements in the City, and
WHEREAS, the City has been informed that Watershed District approval
of City projects revising the district plan are eligible for
district funding, and
WHEREAS, such plans have been presented to the Council for approval,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Hopkins, Minnesota:
1. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed by the
engineer, RCM Associates Inc., and presented to the
Council on October 20, 1992.
2. Bid plans and specifications, a copy of which are
attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby
approved and ordered on file in the office of the City
Clerk.
3. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted
in the official paper and in the Construction Bulletin
an advertisement for bids upon the making of such
improvement under such approved plans and
specifications. The advertisement shall be published
twice, shall specify the work to be done, shall state
that bids will be received by the clerk until 10: 00
a.m., on the 12th day of November, 1992 at the City
Hall and that no bids shall be considered unless sealed
and filed with the clerk.

The clerk and engineering superintendent are hereby
authorized and instructed to receive, open, and read
aloud bids received at the time and place herein noted,

and to tabulate the bids received. The Council will
consider the bids, and the award of a contract, at the
regular City Council meeting of November 17, 1992, in
the Council Chambers.
