RESOLUTION NO. 92-98
A RESOLUTION NAMING AND DEDICATING
THE USE OF CITY PROPERTY
LOCATED ON THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF HIAWATHA AVENUE AND
CAMBRIDGE STREET
WHEREAS, the ci ty of Hopkins has recently purchased the
above described property; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the land
should be contained within our park system; and
WHEREAS, the Hopkins Park Board has reviewed the naming and
use of this property and their recommendations are
contained below,

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the city Council of the
city of Hopkins hereby names the city property located
at the southwest corner of Hiawatha Avenue and
Cambridge Street "Hiawatha Oaks", and furthermore
dedicates it for passive use there by leaving it in its
natural state.
Adopted by the City Council of the city of Hopkins this 10th
day of November, 1992.
