1992-106 . WHEREAS, WHEREAS, WHEREAS, WHEREAS, . WHEREAS, CITY OF HOPKINS Hennepin County, Minnesota RESOLUTION NO: 92-106 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF ONE ADDITIONAL HANDICAP PARKING SPACE ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF MAIN STREET BETWEEN 13TH AND 14TH AVENUE the Hopkins City Council may by resolution designate specific parking arrangements, and pursuant thereto, the police department shall cause the posting and maintenance of appropriate signs at the locations so designated, and on October 6, 1992 the City Council adopted Resolution No. 92-79 which approved various parking requests made by st. Josephs Church for the area on Mainstreet between 13th and 14th Avenue, including the placement of two handicap parking spaces on the south side of Mainstreet, and st. Josephs Church has now requested the provision of one additional handicap parking stall in place of a loading/unloading area originally proposed to be located in front of st. Josephs Church on the south side of Mainstreet, thereby resolving signage difficulties and pursuant to the request, the City Council feels it necessary for the welfare and benefit of handicapped persons to have safe and easy access to st. Josephs Church, and NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Hopkins that the area previously approved as a loading and unloading area in front of st. Josephs Church, between the two previously approved handicap parking spaces, be redesignated as a handicap parking space and signed accordingly. Adopted this 17th day of November, 1992.
