RESOLUTION NO. 91-20
RESOLUTION APPROVING 1990 CONTINGENCY TRANSFERS
WHEREAS, the Hopkins City Council includes a contingency appropriation
within the annual operating budget to cover unanticipated
expenditures, and,
WHEREAS, the City Council and City Manager make numerous expenditure
decisions during each year that exceed line item appropriations,
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is appropriate to
provide for maJor unanticipated expenditures by transferring
funds from the contingency account to the expendi tureaccounts
that were exceeded, and,
WHEREAS, a temporary cash need for remedial landfill action exists for
Project 90-1Sin the P.I.R. Fund, then,

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the following transfers be adopted:
Additions to following budgets:
1. 40415
2. 40420
3. 41XXX
4. 41400

Transfer to budgets for above departments to come from the
contingency budget which has a sufficient balance to cover these
transfers.
Transfer $1,500,000 on a temporary basis from the General Fund to
the P.I.R. Fund.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the city of Hopkins,
Minnesota at a regular meeting held the 19th day of February, 1991.
