RESOLUTION NO. 91-71
A RESOLUTION COMMENDING DOUGLAS DYRLAND FOR OUTSTANDING
WORK WITH THE FIRE DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS Douglas Dyrland is a five year veteran of the Hopkins Fire
Department, and
WHEREAS Douglas Dyrland was a Fire Inspector with the inspections division
and was involved in fire code inspection and public safety education
throughout the community, and
WHEREAS Douglas' innovation and willingness to try something new creates a
leadership style that is respected by the entire department, and
WHEREAS Douglas is a member of the Fire Department's Safety Committee and
the Hazardous Materials Responders Team, and .
WHEREAS Douglas has been selected to receive the Henry F. Moore "Firefighter
of the Year 1990" award.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Hopkins commends Douglas Dyrland for his outstanding work in the Hepkins Fire
Department and congratulates him on the receipt of the Firefighter of the Year
award.
Passed arid adopted by the City Council of the City of Hopkins this 21st day of May,
1991.
