RESOLUTION NO: 91~116
RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING PARKING RESTRICTIONS ON MAINSTREET
FROM WASHINGTON AVENUE N TO SHADY OAK ROAD
WHEREAS, the City of Hopkins is presently upgrading
Mainstreet from 5th Avenue N. to Shady Oak Road to
improve pedestrian and traffic movement, and
available on-street parking; and
WHEREAS, the Business Council has reviewed these on-street
parking improvements and is recommending the city.
establish the parking restrictions mentioned below
to further improve parking conditions; and
WHEREAS, City staff has reviewed these restrictions and
concurs with the Hopkins Business Council that
these restrictions would improve parking
conditions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Hopkins that all existing parking
restrictions on Mainstreet from Washington Avenue
N. to Shady Oak Road be hereby rescinded.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED. that the following restrictions be
hereby established on Mainstreet at the locations
indicated below.
