RESOLUTION APPROVING REVISION TO YEAR XV URBAN
HENNEPIN COUNTY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT
FUNDS, AUTHORIZING ITS SUBMITTAL AND AUTHORIZING
EXECUTION OF THE NECESSARY DOCUMENTS WITH HENNEPIN
COUNTY AND THE GREATER MINNEAPOLIS DAY OAR ASSOCIATION
WHEREAS,
the City of Hopkins,
cooperation Agreement
cooperating unit in
Development Block Grant
through execution of a Joint
with Hennepin County, is a
the Urban County Community
Program; and
WHEREAS, the City of Hopkins has approved a program for the use
of Urban Hennepin County CDBG funds made available to
it, following a public hearing on 3/21/89 to obtain the
views of citizens on local and Urban Hennepin County
housing and community devleopment needs and the City's
following proposed use of Year XV Urban Hennepin County
Community Development Block Grant funds.

WHEREAS, the City of Hopkins now desires to amend this program to
reduce funding to the activity identified in the
original approved program to undertake the following new
activities:
Greater Minneapolis Day Care Association
Sliding Scale Day Care Assistance Program

BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of Hopkins approves the
revised use of Year XV Urban Hennepin County community
Development Block Grant funds and authorizes submittal
of the proposal to Hennepin County for consideration by
the citizen Advisory Committee and for inclusion in the
Year XV Urban Hennepin County Community Development
Block Grant Statement of objectives and Project Use of
Funds.
