RESOLUTION NO: 90-73
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING REVIEWAL OF CERTIFICATES OF
CORRECTION BY HENNEPIN COUNTY SURVEYOR
WHEREAS, the state legislature has provided
surveyors the means to report errors in plats and to state
correct data in the issuance of certificates, and
WHEREAS, the City as well as the surveyor must
sign the certificate of correction before it is filed with
the County Recorder, and
WHEREAS, the City cannot always be assured that
data on a Certificate of Correction is correct,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council
of Hopkins, Minnesota:
That the Hennepin County Surveyor is hereby
authorized to review all Certificates of
Correction for correctness before the ci ty
will provide its signature to such
certificate.
