RESOLUTION NO: 90-132
RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND
ADOPTING THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Hopkins held a public
hearing on October 3, 1989 to review the draft
Comprehensive Plan; and
WHEREAS, the City Council at their workshop on October 10, 1989,
made final recommendations on revisions to the Plan; and
WHEREAS, on November 7, 1989, the City Council adopted the
Comprehensive Plan subject to Metropolitan Council
approval; and
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council has reviewed and approved the
Comprehensive Plan subject to a change regarding the
extension of the Southwest LRT Corridor to the
northwest; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has modified the Comprehensive Plan to
take into consideration the comments made by the
Metropolitan Council;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Comprehensive Plan is
hereby adopted in final form with the following Findings
of Fact:
1. That the Comprehensive Plan goals are consistent with
the City's goals.
2. That the Comprehensive Plan outlines various projects
that are consistent with the goals of the City.
