RESOLUTION NO: 90-145
RESOLUTION CALLING FOR HEARING TO CORRECT OMISSIONS
MAINSTREET RECONSTRUCTION
WHEREAS, the engineering firm of Westwood Professional Services,
Inc. was authorized and directed to prepare a report
with reference to the improvement of Mainstreet from
Shady Oak Road to washington Avenue by way of street and
utility reconstruction, sidewalk reconstruction, and
installation of lighting and landscape amenities and,
WHEREAS, the consultant engineer prepared the aforesaid report
for the improvement herein described and the Council
considered the aforesaid improvement in accordance with
the report and the assessment of abutting and non-
abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of
the improvement and,
WHEREAS, certain parcels in the assessment area were not given
mailed notice,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOPKINS,
MINNESOTA:
The Council will consider the aforesaid improvement as
it affects the parcels not given mailed notice and a
public hearing will be held in the Council Chambers of
the City Hall at 1010 First Street South on Tuesday, the
8th day of January, 1991, at 7:30 p.m. to consider said
improvement. The City Clerk shall give mailed and
published notice of said hearing and improvement as
required by law.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Hopkins, Minnesota,
this 11 day of December, 1990.
