RESOLUTION NO. 90-148
RESOLUTION RELEASING TAX FORFEITURE PROPERTY AND RECOMMENDING PRIVATE
SALE BY COUNTY
TO ADJACENT PROPERTY OWNERS
,
WHEREAS, Hennepin County has notified the City of Hopkins of certain
real estate described under PID No. 19-117-21-24-0097 which
is located within the city and which has been forfeited to
the State of Minnesota for non-payment of real estate
property taxes; and
WHEREAS, the city has determined that the parcel described would be
of no benefit to the city for public purposes; and
WHEREAS, the parcel described is only 8,100 square feet which does
not meet the required 12,000 minimum buildable lot size and
does not have an access,
WHEREAS, there are no levied or pending special assessments,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City council of the city of
Hopkins:
That the city hereby releases that certain parcel from
Hennepin County described under PID No. 19-117-21-24-0097,
and
That the city hereby recommends that the parcel go up for
private sale by the County to adjacent property owners.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Hopkins this 18th day of
