A special meeting of the Hopkins city council was held on October
6, 1989 in Raspberry Room B of Hopkins City Hall.
Present were Councilmembers Shirley, Kritzler, and Anderson.
Also present was City staff Mielke.
I. CALL TO ORDER
Councilmember Shirley called the meeting to order at 3:00 p.m.
II. NEW BUSINESS
(a) CONSIDER ACTION - ASBESTOS REMOVAL BIDS
Staff reviewed with the City Council the asbestos bids which were
received on October 6, at 2:00 p.m. The following bids were
received:
Mayvo Systems Inc.
Allegro Technology Corp.
Remcon Inc.
$ 3,006.00
5,165.00
7,200.00
Councilmember Anderson moved and Councilmember Kritzler seconded
the motion to award the bid to Mayvo Systems Inc.
A poll of the vote was as follows: Councilmember Anderson, Aye:
Councilmember Shirley, Aye: Councilmember Kritzler, Aye. Motion
carried unanimously.
III. ADJOURNMENT
Councilmember Kritzler moved and Councilmember Anderson seconded
the motion to adjourn. The meeting adjourned by unanimous
consent.
