MINUTES OF THE JULY 11, 1989 COUNCIL WORKSESSION
A Council worksession meeting was held on July 11, 1989 in
Raspberry Room B of Hopkins City Hall.
Present were Mayor Berg and Councilmembers Kritzler,
Anderson, Shirley, and Redepenning. Also present were City
Manager craig Rapp, Community Development Director Steve
Mielke, City Clerk Jim Genellie and City Attorney Jerre
Miller.
I. DISCUSSION - MANUFACTURED HOME PARK CLOSING ORDINANCE
Representatives from APAC and the pines Mobile Home
Community appeared to discuss a proposed City resolution
which would be more restrictive than the existing State
Statute. The consensus of the Council was that it would not
be to the best interest of the residents of the park to have
this ordinance passed.
II. DISCUSSION - COUNCIL CHAMBERS AUDIO VISUAL PROPOSAL
Representatives from Electronic Interiors appeared to
explain the proposed improvements to the audio-visual system
in the Council Chambers. A formal proposal was to made at
the next regular Council meeting.
