RESOLUTION NO: 89-77
RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND APPROVING
APPLICATION FOR ZONING AMENDMENT ZN89-5
WHEREAS, an application for a zoning amendment entitled
ZN89-1 made by City of Hopkins, to allow Bingo in
B-3 districts is hereby approved.
WHEREAS, the procedural history of the application is as
follows:
1. That an application for a Zoning Amendment
entitled ZN89-5 was initiated by the City of
Hopkins on August 4, 1989.
2. That the Hopkins Planning Commission reviwed
such application on August 29, 1989.
3. That the Hopkins Planning Commission,
pursuant to published and mailed notices,
held a public hearing on August 29, 1989:
all persons present at the hearing were given
an opportunity to be heard.
4. That the written comments and analysis of the
city Staff and the Planning Commission were
considered.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that application for Zoning
Amendment ZN89-5 to allow Bingo Halls as a
Conditional Use in B-3 Districts is hereby
approved subject to the following Findings of
Fact:
1. That Bingo is a compatible use with the other
permitted uses in the B-3 district.
2. That Bingo is currently an accessory use
within the B-3 districts.
