RESOLUTION NO: 89-71
RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING GORDON ANDERSON
FOR 27+ YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITY OF HOPKINS
WHEREAS, Gordon Anderson has worked for the city of Hopkins
from December of 1961 until his retirement on
September 30, 1989, and
WHEREAS, Gordon began his employment as an Engineering Aid
in the Engineering Department and was promoted to
Director of Engineering on June 1, 1986, and
WHEREAS, under Gordon's guidance the City has maintained a
high level of public service in the Engineering
Division, and
WHEREAS, the City
dedication
community.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Hopkins City Council
hereby commends Gordon Anderson for his over 27
years of service to the City of Hopkins, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that upon his retirement, he be
presented with this Resolution as a demonstration
of the Citys sincere appreciation.
