RESOLUTION NO. 89-61
A RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND
PREPARATION OF PLANS
WHEREAS, a Resolution of the City Council No. 89-53 adopted
the 11th day of July, 1989, fixed a date for a hearing
on the proposed improvement of Block 4, West
Minneapolis, between 8th and 9th Avenues South, from
Mainstreet to 2nd Street South, by the making of an
improvement to an alley thereon, the total estimated
cost thereof being $5,400.00.
WHEREAS, all property owners whose property is liable to be
assessed for the making of this improvement were given
ten days published notice of the council hearing
through two weekly publications of the required notice,
and a hearing was held and the property owners heard
thereon on the 1st day of August, 1989
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City council of the City
of Hopkins:
1. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in
the Council Resolution No. 89-20 adopted March 7,
1989. The city shall pay twenty percent (20%) of
the concrete costs out of the General Fund and the
benefitting property owners shall pay all remaining
costs over a ten year period.
2. That TOltz, King, Duvall & Anderson, City Engineers,
are hereby designated as the Engineers for this
improvement and they shall prepare plans and
specifications for the making of such improvement.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Hopkins this 1st
day of August, 1989.
