RESOLUTION NO: 89-56
RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND APPROVING
APPLICATION FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT CUP89-10
WHEREAS, an application for a Conditional Use Permit entitled
CUP89-10, made by Dexis corporation, to allow an auto
sales lot at 420 Mainstreet is approved.
WHEREAS, the procedural history of the application is as follows:
1. That an application for Conditional Use Permit
CUP89-10 was filed with the City of Hopkins on
June 30, 1989.
2. That the Hopkins Planning Commission reviewed such
application on July 25, 1989.
3. That the Hopkins Planning Commission, pursuant to
published and mailed notices, held a public
hearing on July 25, 1989: all persons present at
the hearing were given an opportunity to be heard.
4. That the written comments and analysis of the City
Staff and the Planning Commission were considered.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that application for Conditional
Use Permit CUP89-10 is hereby approved subject to the
following Findings of Fact:
1. That an auto sales lot is a conditional use within
a B-3 district.
2. That the proposed auto sales lot meets the
conditions for an auto sales lot.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that application for Conditional Use
Permit CUP89-10 is hereby approved subject to the
following Conditions:
1. That the parking situation at the applicants auto sales
lot be reviewed in six (6) months.
2. That the sales lot be limited to a maximum of 24 cars.
3. No painting or body work is to be done on site.
4. That the applicant clearly mark the customer parking
area.
