RESOLUTION NO.89-54
A RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING
FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 89-21 of the Council
adopted March 7, 1989, a report has been prepared by
Toltz, King, Duvall & Anderson, City Engineers, with
reference to the improvement of Block 82, West
Minneapolis Second Division, between 6th and 7th
Avenues North from 1st Street North to 2nd Street North
by the construction of a concrete alley thereon and
this report was received by the Council on July 11,
1989,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Hopkins as follows:
1. The Council will consider the improvement of such
alley in accordance with the report and the
assessment of benefiting property for all or a
portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to
M.S.A., Secs. 429.011 to Secs. 429.111, as amended,
at an estimated cost of the improvement of $16,280,
and will further consider the market value before
and after said improvement, of the property affected
thereby.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed
improvement on the 1st day of August, 1989 in the
Council Chambers of the City Hall at 7:30 P.M., and
the Clerk shall give published notice of such
hearing and improvement as required by law.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Hopkins this 11th
day of July, 1989.
