RESOLUTION NO: 89-48
RESOLUTION THANKING HOPKINS ROTARY
FOR TOT LOT INSTALLATION AT
SHADY OAK BEACH
WHEREAS, the Hopkins Rotary Club has historically undertaken
numerous community service projects that have improved
the quality of life in Hopkins, and
WHEREAS, the Hopkins Rotary Club recently completed the
construction and installation of a tot lot at Shady Oak
Beach, and
WHEREAS, approximately 'twenty-five Rotarians donated their
time on a rainy, cold, muddy, spring day to ensure
completion of the project, and
WHEREAS, the value of materials and labor donated by the
Hopkins Rotary Club for the tot lot exceeded $10,000,
then
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Hopkins City Council
wishes to express its sincere appreciation and
gratitude to the Hopkins Rotary Club for its efforts to
construct a tot lot at Shady Oak Beach.
