RESOLUTION NO: 89-4
RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND APPROVING
APPLICATION FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT CUP88-18
WHEREAS, the original Condi tional Use Permi t for
the Hopkins Office Center required a 20 foot green area
between the Downtown Park and the parking area of the
Hopkins Office Center, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Hagen has now app lied for a
Conditional Use Permit entitled CUP88-18, to amend the
original Conditional Use Permit to allow parking in the 20
foot green area is approved.
WHEREAS, the procedural history of the application
is as follows:
1. That an application for Conditional Use Permit
CUP88-18 was filed with the City of Hopkins on
December 2, 1988.
2. That the Hopkins Planning Commission reviwed
such application on December 27, 1988.
3. That the Hopkins Planning Commission, pursuant
to published and mailed notices, held a public
hearing on December 27, 1988: all persons
present at the hearing were given an
opportunity to be heard.
4. That the written comments and analysis of the
City Staff and the Planning Commission were
considered.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that application for
Conditional Use Permi CUP88-18 is hereby approved subject
to the following Findings of Fact:
1. That the additional parking area will provide
additional parking for the applicant.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that application for
Condi tional Use Permi t CUP88-18 is hereby approved subject
to the following Condition:
1. That the 20 foot buffer area is only used for
parking.
