ORDINANCE NO: 89-642
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 515 AND 540
OF THE HOPKINS ZONING ORDINANCE
REGARDING KENNELS
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Hopkins as
follows:
That section 515 of the Hopkins Zoning Ordinance be and the same
is hereby amended by revision and there is hereby enacted and
adopted in place thereof the following sub-section:
515.07
Subd. 7 Animal: means any warm blooded mammal,
inclusive of, but not limited to dogs and cats, as well
as any reptiles or birds of prey. For purposes of this
ordinance, when the specific animal type is not
described, such as dog, the term animal shall apply to
all forms of animals as described herein.
Subd. 22 Commercial kennel: a premises which is not a
dwelling unit where three or more animals, at anyone
time, over six months of age are owned, boarded, bred
or offered for sale.
That the Hopkins Zoning Ordinance No. 540 be and the same is
hereby amended by adding the following provisions:
