RESOLUTION NO: 88-28
RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND APPROVING
APPLICATION FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT CUP88-6
WHEREAS, an application for a Conditional Us
Permit entitled CUP88-6 has been made by the City of Hopkins
to construct a parking ramp between 10th & 11th Avenues
South, north of the Norwest Bank building.
WHEREAS, the procedural history of the application
is as follows:
1. That an application for a Conditional Use
Permit CUP88-6 was filed on March 30, 1988.
2. That the Hopkins Planning Commission reviewed
such application on April 26, 1988.
3. That the Hopkins Planning Commission, pursuant
to published and mailed notices, held a public
hearing on April 26, 1988; all persons present
at the hearing were given an opportunity to be
heard.
4. That the written comments and analysis of the
City Staff and the Planning Commission were
considered.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Hopkins
City Council makes the following Findings of Fact in respect
to CUP88-6:
1. That the parking facility meets the
requirements for a B-2 District.
2. That the parking facility meets the
requirements for a Conditional Use Permit.
3. That the parking facility will provide needed
parking for the downtown area.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that application for
Conditional Use Permit CUP88-6 is hereby approved subject to
the following Conditions:
1. That a waiver of plat is granted.
2. Council will review petition and determine if
an Environmental Assessment Worksheet is
required.
