CITY OF HOPKINS HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION NO. 88-47 A RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 88-33 of the Council adopted May 3, 1988, a report has been prepared by Gordon Anderson, Director of Engineering, with reference to improvement of Block 99, West Minneapolis 2nd Division by the construction of a replacement north-south alley with center drainage slope thereon and this report was received by the Council on June 7, 1988. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOPKINS, MINNESOTA, as follows: 1. The Council will consider the improvement of such alley in accordance with the report and the assessment of benefiting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to M.S.A., Sees. 429.011 to Sees. 429.111, as amended, at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $15,916 for concrete surfacing and $1,679 for grading and blacktop to meet existing driveways and will further consider the market value before and after said improvement, of the property affected thereby. ~ 2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 5th day of July, 1988 in the Council Chambers of the City Hall at 7:30 o'clock P.M., and the Clerk shall give published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law.
