RESOLUTION NO. 88-54
A RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND
CALLING FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 86-75 of the Council
adopted November 5, 1986, a report has been prepared by
Gordon Anderson, Director of Engineering, with reference to

the improvement of the north side of Cambridge Street by the
installation of sidewalk and curb and gutter and the
improvement of the south side of Cambridge Street by the
installation of curb and gutter thereon and this report was
received by the Council on June 21, 1988.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
HOPKINS, MINNESOTA, as follows:
1. The Council will consider the improvement of such
Cambridge street in accordance with the report and the
assessment of Lots 9 through 35 inclusive and that part of
South 136 feet of North 305 feet lying East of West 463 feet
thereof of Lot 68 all in Auditors Subdivision No. 239 for
all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to

M.S.A., Secs. 429.011 to Secs. 429.111, as amended, at an
estimated total cost of the improvement of $64,323; and will
further consider the market value before and after said
improvement, of the property affected thereby.

2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed
improvement on the 19th day of July, 1988, in the Council
Chambers of the City Hall at 7:30 o'clock P.M., and the
Clerk shall give published notice of such hearing and
improvement as required by law.
Adopted by the Council of the City of Hopkins,
Minnesota, this 21st day of July, 1988.
