1988-061 .' ~ CITY OF HOPKINS Hennepin County, Minnesota RESOLUTION NO.88-61 A RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF PLANS WHEREAS, a Resolution of the City Council No. 88-47, adopted the 7th day of June, 1988, fixed a date for a hearing on the proposed improvement of Block 99, West Minneapolis 2nd Division by the making of an improvement to an alley thereon, the estimated cost thereof being $15,916 for concrete surfacing and $1,679 for grading and blacktop to meet existing driveways, and WHEREAS all property owners whose property is liable to be assessed for the making of this improvement were given ten days published notice of the council hearing through two weekly publications of the required notice, and a hearing was held and the property owners heard thereon on the 5th day of July, 1988 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HOPKINS: 1. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the Council Resolution No. 88-33 adopted May 3, 1988. The City shall pay twenty percent (20%) of the concrete costs out of the General Fund and the benefitting property owners shall pay all remaining costs over a ten-year period. ~ 2. That Gordon Anderson, Director of Engineering, is hereby designated as the Engineer for this improvement and he shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvement.
