RESOLUTION NO: 88-72
RESOLUTION APPROVING TAX INCREMENT POLICY
WHEREAS, under Minnesota Statute 469, the Hopkins
Housing and Redevelopment Authority , with approval of the
City of Hopkins, is allowed to establish areas in which to
undertake redevelopment/development activities, and
WHEREAS, the Hopkins Housing and Redevelopment
Authority, with approval of the City of Hopkins, is allowed
to use tax increments to finance such activities, and
WHEREAS, the Hopkins Housing and Redevelopment
Authority and the City of Hopkins desire to establish
specific criteria on which to review applications for the
use of tax increment financing.

NOW THEREFORE be it resolved by the City of
Hopkins that the document entitled "City of Hopkins Tax
Increment Policy" is hereby adopted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the City of Hopkins
that the staff of the city of Hopkins is hereby authorized
to revise such plan from time to time to insure compliance
with legislative changes.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Hopkins on August
16, 1988.
