RESOLUTION NO. 88-79
RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING EARL WECKMAN
FOR 30+ YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITY OF HOPKINS
WHEREAS, Earl Weckman has been a member of the Hopkins
Police Department from August 12, 1958 until his
retirement on August 31, 1988,
.
WHEREAS, Earl served as a patrol officer, detective, and
was the juvenile officer at the time of his
retirement, and
WHEREAS, Earl has been a member of the Suburban Law
Enforcement Association for 25 years, and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to recognize Earl's
dedication and outstanding service to the
community,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Hopkins City
Council hereby commends Earl Weckman for his over
thirty years of service to the City of Hopkins,
and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that upon his retirement, he be
presented with this Resolution as a demonstration
of the City'S sincere appreciation.
