RESOLUTION NO. 87-1
RESOLUTION DECLARING COSTS TO BE ASSESSED AND
ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENTS
WHEREAS, certain improvements, all as more fully
described as follows:
Project 86-03. The installation of fire protection
sprinkler systems in the "Hopkins House" motel &
restaurant, 1501 Highway 17, the total cost for the
project being $145,919.39, and the area proposed to be
assessed being: P.I.D. 24-117-22220066, Tract A and
east 1/2 of Tract B also that part of Tract G lying
east of west 120 feet thereof, Registered Land Survey
No. 1053
have been previously ordered and completed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF HOPKINS, MINNESOTA, as follows:
1. That the cost of each such improvement to be
specially assessed is hereby declared to be the cost of the
improvement.
2. That the City Clerk, with the assistance of
Director of Engineering) forthwith calculate the proper
amount to be specially assessed for each such improvement
against every assessed piece or parcel of land within the
various districts or locations affected without regard to
cash valuation, as provided by law, and he shall file a

inspection.
The Clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed
assessments, notify the Council thereof.
Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of
Hopkins, Minnesota, this 6th day of January, 1987.
